<p>Also my essay is about 900 words long, should I shorten it? Most of the teachers I gave to for feedback said it was a good read, and did not mention shortening, but I'm worried that it might be too long for the admission people who read thousands of essays a day.</p>

<p>If you can, try to shorten your essay at least 100 words. Teacher’s have time and really “read” the essays, while the admissioners don’t have time or any feelings while reading the essay.</p>
