Do you need to meet the SAT requirement for the bright futures scholarship if you’re an IB Diploma student?

The SAT minimum requirement for bright futures is 1330 but I’ve heard that if you receive the IB Diploma at the end of the year you don’t have to meet this requirement and can be rewarded the scholarship. Not sure if this is true?
