Except for getting to graduate earlier, I really can't think of anything else that's positive about the quarter system. I think schools should give students to choose which one they want , if they don't want to get rid of the quarter system. i mean, most high schools and grad schools run on a quarter system! So why would you put students on a quarter system just to mess with them?

Yes I understand many people want to graduate early so they prefer the quarter system, but what's the point of graduating early if you can't get good grades, which might prevent you from getting your degree?

And there's the point some people make about having the pain in the classes you don't like over with quicker. Well, smart people take classes they don't find painful. Plus, it's more painful if you have to cram everything and fail because the class doesn't give you enough time for it, and before you know you have a final! And then BAM! You failed! And then you have to retake the course, which makes the "pain" even longer than semester system!

So what's your take?Quarter system or semester?
