Sorry if this is a n00b question but I've been so out of the loop because of other matters. Do we just research courses online now, then on summer reg. day (mine's June 25) we go and talk to our advisers/counselors about which courses we should take? Or is this entire process all on your own online?

I'd greatly appreciate any helpful answers; thanks so much in advance!

You do your research online, taking into consideration any AP/ACT English credits, then review the suggested curriculum for your program, and try to generate a schedule, remembering that you only have 10 minutes to get to back-to-back courses (have a campus map handy). Then you will meet with your advisor, the registration hold will be lifted, and you will register online that day.
