It's not hard to look okay maintain a certain amount of laziness. I've gotten progressively lazier but I still dress better than 99% of the kids at my school. I used to randomly wear ties and sweaters w/ button ups when the mood struck, etc. just because I like to look sharp but now I just throw on flip flops, chino shorts, a ribbon belt/leather belt, and a polo or sometimes a cool tee and I look fine. That's what I consider lazy dress. I don't mind lazy dress for anyone as long as everything fits fine and is clean etc etc.

I don't think its so much "I care what I look like" as much as it is fun - I love dressing up, picking out nice jewelry to match everything, etc. Im super "girly" in that matter. Plus, I tend to think the way I dress up is a bit of a "preview" of my personality - I mean, a little bit don't we all (or at least most of the people I know) tend to notice people by how they present themselves first - I mean, you don't see personality walking down the halls?

Now, thats not to say I put on pounds of makeup and try every sort of skin-enhancing yadda yadda yadda stuff, but do I work a bit to look polished, put together? Absolutely. That is through my clothing. I spend lots of time putting effort towards learning, school work, etc. and "dressing up" is my way to have fun =) And, I simply love sort of "sharper" look for myself, hehe (e.g. sweaters, fancier shirts, formal heels, etc.)

Of course, that's not to say I will kill myself over it (e.g. wake up at 4 to get all fancy) but work a bit? Sure. But its because it's what I want to do for me :) ... if that makes any sense, hehe.

Anyways, sorry ramble over, haha!

I've always wondered if you have to purchase 5 uniforms or wear the same uniform everyday for private school?

When I wore a uniform, I had four shirts and three skirts. I don't see a point in getting a uniform for each day because if you wear the same skirt three times or even every day that week, people won't notice, unless you're like me and get paint all over yourself...

Yeah good point to those who did say guys shouldn't dress up, I'm one, I dress up probably four days of the year just because. But yeah, I'm way too lazy and I wake up too late to care.

we have uniform too! most ugly thing I've ever seen in my life, yet i've had to wear it every day for the past 6 years.... except at least we're seniors now, get to wear the senior uniform which is a pleated skirt, instead of a jumper... but same shirt - white. Goes see through though in the rain, slight problem. But I mean I go to a all girls school, no-one to really dress up for.
