Do you think I can get into an Ivy league school?

I am currently going into my Junior year of High School. I am ranked 11 out of 536 in a highly competitive school. I have already taken two Ap classes and received a 4 on Ap human geography and a 5 on Ap world history. For my junior year I'm taking 8 Ap classes tht i feel i should do fairly well in but idk how well i'll do on the actual Ap Test. I have not yet taken an Sat or Act but based on practice test i'm projecting i'll get a score of 2200+. I am African American, i'm not sure this will increase my chances. For Extra Circulars I was on the Academic Decathlon team at my school, i also do this organization known as Deca. I have very many volunteer hours. I also got a summer job at American Eagle. So please be honest on what chances i have on getting into an ivy league type school?

Here is some advice. Don’t overload your schedule unless you can perform well. It is better to take a little less. Not all AP’s are very important to take. The core classes are better to focus on than the electives, except for electives that particularly interest you.

It is too early to tell what level of school you can get in. There is certainly no reason to guess using fake test scores. Spend some of your time over the next year learning about different types of colleges and what they have to offer to find out what qualities appeal to you. Identify your safety schools first, where you are sure to get in and afford to go. Then look at solid matches. After that, you can put a few reach schools in the mix. For Ivy’s and schools of similar selectivity, you can only know if your stats are in range with accepted students. You won’t know if you can get in until you apply. Being African American should help you a bit.

The only reason i’m over loading my schedule is bc my school is so competitive tht ppl ranked lower than me have the same difficulty of schedule as i do and rank in our school is based on difficulty of schedule and grades

Also depends on your GPA/

Before applying to an Ivy League school, ask yourself why the Ivy League, because the 8 schools are similar in many ways but different in more ways. Same for any school on par with Ivies or other schools. If you can’t answer “why X University” (with specifics and not general statements), then you need to reassess why you are applying to the school.
