I'm looking at Emory University, Carnegie Mellon, John Hopkins, and Georgetown.

I will be straightforward and blunt will all my achievements. I think those schools are all reaches for me, and i'm seriously not sure if I can get in. Im in my senior year, and m school is a small, international, private school so we don't have a lot of variety for extracurriculars and ap courses at my school. But I tried my best at doing what I could. Anyways these are my credentials so far.

Varsity Basketball (2 years)
Varsity Volleyball (1 year)
Helping Hands (charity) (2 years)--(Secretary)
Prom Committee (2 years) (In charge of Promotions)
Student Council (1 year) --(Vice President of entire HS)
Book Club
Save the Earth (Environmental club)(1 year)--Founder and President
National Honor Society (1 year)

AP Courses:

AP Biology
AP U.S History
AP Economics

Credits so far: 280 credits (only 240 is required to graduate with honors, but i just filled my whole schedule)

I know, so far my credentials look pretty decent, but I don't know if I actually have a chance with those universities. Be blunt with me. Do you think i have a good chance of getting in? If not, tell me which universities I should aim for.

What is your intended major? That will make a huge difference in your chance for colleges like CMU (their School of CS and Tepper are much harder to get into than their other schools) and JHU. I’m assuming since you’re applying to JHU and since you took the Bio SAT II, something probably medicine related?

In any case, your GPA brings you down a lot although your SATs are fairly good.

I really think you should try to get your GPA up this semester if possible. It’s going to be very difficult getting into these universities, and it’s even more difficult as an intl student. Try looking for colleges that weight SAT scores more than GPA.

Does your international school offer the IB program? Is it an international school in the US (immersion, IB, A Levels…) or is it a school in a foreign country? That changes things quite a bit, as well as whether you’re an American citizen (dual or not), or International who will need an F1 visa.
If you’re attending a school in the US, 3.5 is insufficient for the schools you listed as well as your SAT2 scores. You could apply to 2 or 3 of the 4, “just to see”, but odds are overwhelmingly not in your favor. If you hope to apply for competitive programs within these universities (premed at JHU, CS at CMU) it’s out of reach.
What do you like about those universities? With a few more details we’d be able to provide you with many suggestions.
