Essay- Table
I will write about a Table. How the table is important to me: In Africa my family and I were in a war and so we hide underneath the table from the bombs. Now, since I am in the USA for many years, dont know exact number... but anyways, now my parents uses it to talk about bills and how will survive for next day.

So the essay will be a contrast of the use of a table in two different countries and two different situations.

Which school at Cornell? The scores and grades are low for you to have a really good chance, in my opinion, though my son got in with grades like yours, and I know kids with low 1300s (old SAT) bet accepted. But the combination.... makes it tough.

^What SAT did your son have?
College of arts and science and I want to major in SOCIOLOGY.
I know my essay will knock them out, that is the only plus I have.

Try raising your GPA along with your SAT, but don't fret only on the SATs.
I like your essay though. Very original! Copyright it!
Besides my SAT was 1850 (590 CR 750 M 530 W <--LOL)

Can I send an ACT score instead of the SAT subject test?
I am going the take the SAT on Jan and the subj. on May, don't you think that they will reject me becasue I waited to long?

A Subject Test in May is way too later. But SAT on January is good and ACT scores will be accepted too, thought I don't know how that can be replaced with the Subject Test.

Do you have like any Dual Enrollment schools to Colleges. Take a couple college courses. Take some kind of AP course, preferably the easier one to get an A to raise your GPA.
Yet, if you can show you can handle college work, I guess they can look over the GPA.
