I'm going to take Algebra2 w/ Precalc my coming sophomore year but I don't know any of the Algebra2. I took Geometry last year when I was suppose to take Geometry w/ Algebra 2. Am I going to have a problem next year?

I'm also taking AP Biology & AP U.S. History. SHould I start Studying AP Bio? Because I don't want to be screwed with homework & stress while playing JV & Varsity sports all year >.>

I think studying some for Bio and U.S wouldn’t be a bad idea. I wish i had done some APUSH notes over the summer like some other kids. If i had done that, I wouldn’t have had sleepless nights and felt like I was dying. By the way I’m in varsity track both seasons. It was a living hell with all that work.

Do you know what Alg II you were supposed to learn in Geo/Alg II? If you don’t, ask kids who took it to see what Alg II you have to know.

Omg ***? Sleepless Nights? All the other guys act as if its easy??? I don’t want to be stressed out just for an AP… I need to know how much work you do for it.

Is it based of your IQ your ability to learn this stuff so easily?

Lol well this is CC, so most people would be like it’s so easy. Also, some of them aren’t on sports team like you are. I wouldn’t say it’s totally sleepless, but very sleep deprived and tiring. I can’t give you a definite answer on how much your APUSH class will have because it depends on your school. For me, I had to read about 2 chapters per 3 days and take notes on them. 1 chapter took about 2-3 hours for me because of those stupid notes. My track practices end around 5, sometimes 7 because of meets. I have hours of hw that don’t end until 12-1am. It took hours because there were so many hw, and I was mentally and physically drained. My advice would be to do some work over the summer, and do everything else in advance to keep off the stress.

APUSH is not really a “smart” class. All you have to do is memorize everything and do your work. So intelligence would not be a big factor. I’m not a genius, but I pulled an A- and a 5. You can PM if you have any other questions. Or just post them here. :)
