I switched into AP Bio, AP USH, & AP COMPUTER SCIENCE O_O
I'm sooo happy!!!

2.Does anyone know if this is too many AP?
3.Do you think there will still be enough room in the AP class for me to switch into???
4.Do you have to have a prerequisite to do an AP?

I need answers from the smart people please! Most people that are going to take AP in my grade are only taking 1 AP? They say AP bio+APush is too much work???

I know juniors who took AP Bio and APush, of course they also took AP comp and Calc AB/BC, I’d say it depends on who you are, I’ve never known a sophomore who’s done it but who knows maybe you could.

APUSH is a Junior class at my school (AP Euro being the prereq, and the only AP course a sophomore can take. With the exception of AP Physics and AP Calc AB/BC, but only 2 are in physics and none in calc.)

If you think you are up to the challenge, then it isn’t too many AP courses. I’m taking 4 Junior year, and 5-6 Senior.

We can’t know if there’s any room for you to switch into these classes, because we don’t go to your school/have access to the AP enrollment statistics in your school.

If there is a prereq for that certain AP class you are taking, I’m sure you wouldn’t have been switched into it if you hadn’t taken the prereq.

What’s hard for me, may not be hard for you. I have friends who get better English grades than me, but I surpass them in Math. If you like US History, and are interested in it, you may do better than someone like me for example (I hate Social Studies classes).

I don’t think it would be too much work, but your work tolerance goes up with each year. It might be too much for a sophomore, I don’t know. With good time management I see no reason why you wouldn’t be able to handle it.

How time consuming was it for you? Because most people in my school gots 3’s/4’s on the Exam. But I KNOW that they were cheating the labs & work sheets.

Like others have said, it depends on your school / teacher. All the science & history AP’s I’ve taken in my school were basically joke classes. They required very little homework during the school year, however, I had a full schedule in junior year… I ended up getting barely any sleep most of the time. And it was torture studying for the real AP tests that the classes had barely prepared me for. Good luck!
