Appreciate your opinions. If I get deferred, I dont think Ill be able to wait. :)

I think this is a match for you. A 31 is very solid for UIUC, and your GPA and ECs are also strong. I’d be surprised to see you even get deferred.

Good chance, no certainty as business is truly a full file review college and essays are very important. Also, do not be shocked by a deferral in December since it is a possibility because most priority date applicants to business do get deferred to a decision in February.

Sounds like you will get in, obviously no guarantees though

I am a freshman in the College of Business right now, and I also had a 31 on my ACT, my gpa was 4.3 (not sure what it was unweighted), lots of honors classes but only a few AP. IHSA state qualifier in swimming, 3 year varsity swimmer, future business leaders of america member.

By the sound of it, you sound better than me! soo, hopefully you get in! :)

Freshman year is amazing, I couldn’t have asked for anything better. My classes aren’t very difficult this semester which is nice because it makes it easier to adjust to a new lifestyle.

I did participate in rush, but I didn’t end up pledging. I am thinking about doing it next year though. Yeah it’s so much fun, there’s always so much to do… really never a dull moment.

Any other questions? I’d be happy to answer them :)

No that is really it…just wanted to see if you liked the school socially…and it sounds like you do…that is great to hear! One other question…would you say that a lot of kids hang around kids from their high school and tend not to branch out? Have you met a lot of new kids? How do you like your dorm?
