Do you think i will get into CSUN?

I go to palm desert high school (out of local area for CSUN). I have a 3.75 csu gpa and my sat score is 1850. Im worried i will not get into csun because of the impaction thing. I applied for Computer Information Technology major. Its not listed as one of the imoacted majors, but its still got me worried. Opinions? Thanks

What is your SAT score breakdown especially Math and Critical Reading? Calculate your CSU eligibility index as follows: (CSU GPA x800) + (SAT Math + CR). If your Eligibility index is 3800+, I think you are solid for CSUN.

My eligibilty index is 4290. So you dont think i should be worried?

I think you have a very good chance unless they are limiting the out of area applicants. Good luck.
