I have a 3.5 unweighted GPA, and took the SAT for the first time and got a 1640. I didn't study and I did horribly on the math and thought it was impossible. I took it at Pitt (I'm in love) last week and thought I did phenomenally better, not only because I took it on campus but because I studied the math for 3 months, daily. I'm expecting no less than a 1750.
Junior year classes: AP US History, College in high school physics, AP English, Algebra 2
I am Pres of Orchestra and Interact Club, VP of Chorus
I am in SADD, National Honors Society, Social Committee, French Club
I tutor elementery kids year round this is my 3rd year now, as well as tutor ESL kids (I know Arabic)
I also volunteer (4th year this year) at a University of Pitt hospital each summer(it's on campus)
My letters of rec are from my physics teacher (I worked my butt off after getting a D one quarter, and she inspired me and helped me so much, I earned an A and then a B as final grades the 3rd and 4th quarter) And from my AP US History teacher who saw my progress

My essay was about innocence and Syria (Parents are Syrian) and how I once saw syria as a paradise and how blind I was to the corruptness of it, and now my family goes days without electricity and water, and how I want to change a life for the better, thats why I volunteer, etc.
What do you think my chances are? Everyone tells me not to worry because my record is fantastic, and I'm applying next week (super early) but I still worry ): Thanks!
