Do you think this is why so many schools decided to give decisions March 31?

I've been so busy stressing about scholarships and acceptance/rejection letters that I didn't even realize....the day after March 31 is April 1, as in April Fool's Day! Does anyone think it's possible that schools decided to give out decisions the day before b/c they thought there would be a bunch of neurotic teenagers who would have a mental breakdown trying to decide whether it was possible their rejection was an April Fool's Day joke? I don't know anyone else but I actually know someone in my senior class who would go totally crazy if that happened to him. (And no I'm not talking about myself lol.)

genius, that is exactly why they do it!
