Do you think universities are accepting more students this year?

According the the MIT admissions blog:

MIT Admissions | Blog Entry: "Odds & Ends"

They accepted over 100 more students early action, yet are not changing the class size or the percentage of the class accepted via EA. Would this affect the RD statistics as well? Because I know that they are referring to Harvard's cancellation of EA, but I'm not sure if this applies to RD as well as EA.

More students in total? Nope.

Colleges do, to a certain extent, have a limit to their class size. As Middlebury found out last year, there are only so many beds on campus.

Will they be waitlisting more kids and then taking more than usual off the waitlist? Probably.
