Do your Senior year grades affect your application?

Does your Senior year grades affect your application?

The reason i bring this up is because i'm only going to have 1 or 2 Ap's left next year (Senior), and so my GPA would probably drop after I take a few non-AP courses. When you apply for a college RD, which GPA does the college see? The one at the end of your Junior year? or...?

They usually view the end of your juinor year unless you're applyign to a college that looks at applications a bit later. If they notice that your GPA's lower solely due to fewer APs, you should be fine. (assuming your unweighted GPA stays similar)

So does the first semester of senior year count in a person's gpa that he or she is sending to college? Will it help you get in if you do well?

First semester Senior year counts.

most definitely, 1st sem. of sr. year is as important as jr. year. you will send in your transcript at the end of 1st sem (after the rest of your app is in). if you apply ED/EA however, the adcom's decision will be made based on your transcript at the end of jr. year.
