Random but...how is senior year's gpa counted?

For my school, only the first two semesters of senior year are incorporated into the overall high school gpa. Does that mean that senior year's gpa doesn't count as much and doesn't affect your overall gpa as much as freshmen, sophomore, or junior year?
Thanks!

Well at my school there are only 2 semesters per year, but there are 4 quarters. Are you talking about the first 2 quarters, the first semester? Thats what it sounds like. So yes basically your senior year won’t count as much for college applications because depending on when you apply they will either see no grades for it or just your first semester grades. They will ask for your final transcript though!

OHH boy that’s not good…haha okay thank you so much :)

For admission purposes, your second semester of senior year won’t come into play. Now if you totally tanked second semester, they could rescind your admission, but that is rare. My D applied ED when she was a senior & the admissions office called her GC to ask what her first quarter grades were.
