@conmama , I had to laugh - upon your recommendation I started watching Brothers and Sisters (old family drama series). THOSE SIBLINGS ARE KISSING EACH OTHER ALL THE TIME!!! I had to laugh thinking I wonder if this is why @conmama has the idea that family members should be kissing all the time!!! :joy:

Lol! I don’t remember them doing that! Although it’s not from the show, but my own extended family. We brothers and sisters actually kissed each other hello and goodbye. Now I’m estranged from one and rarely see the other, so I guess it’s not a true sign of closeness.

i don’t kiss my sibs but consider myself close to them and see them. before covid we’d often gather at least monthly. less often since.

Mine are considerably taller than me, so it is generally a hug with a kiss on the top of my head. They are fine with me kissing them on the cheek, but I have to pull their face down

When they were teens, I made sure to hug them every day. Boys need hugs too, even if they don’t always know it. (But my oldest HATES people to touch his hair, so I respect that boundary)

I disliked having my hair touched, too.
