Dobie vs. Callaway House

Hi all,

I'm looking to apply for housing soon since I'm a prospective freshman and am deciding between callaway and dobie. I visited both and I like Callaway more since it looks really nice, has larger rooms, and has better meal options. I'm just wondering about the difference in people. I kind of thought that Callaway people would be prep kids and superficial people who party all the time (not trying to be rude but just being honest). Is this true? I know Dobie has all sorts of people but I thought that Calaway was kind of 1 dimensional. Thanks!

Personally, I got that vibe too whenever I visited a friend who lived in Callaway. It’s a lovely hotel with plenty of amenities for students. The strangers I’ve walk past by or seen while I was in the lobby appeared to stick to themselves or eye judged people around them. There was a rumor of an imgur pic of drunkenness that originated from Callaway. I don’t remember much of it, though.

It’d be cool if an actual resident of Callaway answered your question.
