I sent my required documents about a week ago, how long does it usually take for UCSB to process it and post online that they have received my documents? I am worried that it may not have gotten to them.

Mine took about 2 and a half weeks. I mailed them from the Los Angeles County area.

i sent mine in the last week of may and i barely got notification today that they had recieved them

I had to send in 3 required documents. One for student tax returns, one for parent tax returns, and one for student dependent verification. The student tax return was waived and the student verification was received although it still says the parent tax return has not been received. Does anyone else have this problem…or does anyone know if the tax return takes longer to process?..(maybe it was possibly lost or something happened)

(I sent all 3 at once)

^ same problem here…

Call them. Its the simplest and surest way to get the actual answer. All we can give you here is guesses.

I called a while ago and they said less than a week between the time they receive it and post online.
But I have a related problem.
I turned mine in two days before it was due and it shows they received/processed it like 5 days past due. I’m going to be ****ed if they consider that I returned the docs late because they didn’t process it until a week later…

^as long as you turned them in before the deadline, thats all that matters

but the FinAid says the date shown is the actual date received:
https://www.finaid.ucsb.edu/Bulletins/RecentlySubmittedDocuments.

so if they actually received it 3 days late…is it late even i turned it in before it was due…
what, did they not check their box for 4 days lol??

call them up and tell them you turned it in on time to ensure you wont be penalized

Called them and they say I was logged as on-time. I guess they’re just slow to update the online statuses or whatever. They also said I won’t be able to see my award letter until mid-July.

I guess they’re just understaffed from the budget cuts?

same problem here, i mailed in an enrollment status update form last monday and they still havent received it.

yea the link i posted above says 3-4 weeks to see it

i really have bad luck. i sent my parents tax return info through priority mail and even received a notice from the post office saying that ucsb received the documents yet the website still says “not recieved.” im pretty worried…

@Mario, call them up to find out
