Does the DoDMERB applicant status website reflect a candidate's admission status in the "Admission Status" line or is that used for some other purpose?

Yes, DoDMERB reflects your admissions status.

...except that the DoDMERB site has lost the "Admission status" line this week, most likely due to temporary IT problems

^^^

Yeah, I was wondering about that. All my info disappear one day and was back the next.

I wonder if they got wise to everyone sneaking a peak at what was going on and eliminated that status line...I checked and my son's changed, too.

I just checked and the layout looks different, I think they changed their website. It wouldn't surprise me if a part of the issue was people calling their regionals and asking what does this mean?

Other than the omission of the "ADMISSION STATUS" line, I cannot see any difference in the web site.

The advisor over at serviceacademyforums says it's only an IT issue that is being worked on.

Well I got a call from my congressman Tuesday, telling me the naval academy was offering my appointment, which would be mailed out on Friday, but the DODMERB shows no change in status.

^^^ congrats, and stop worrying! All is good!

ha ha, i wouldn't be surprised either if the academy asked them to take it off.

i got the same call tuesday saying the same thing. I called the academy admissions office the next day and they verified it. USNA Class of 2012.

congrats, whose your congressman?

is anyone else going to dodmerb and getting a new screen asking you to sign in?

^^^

Yes and now I can't access DoDMERB.

Yeah, that's happening to me, as of today. Really weird. And I had issues logging in before they started asking for a password to the site. I put this poor lady through all this crap having her fix it for me. I think they must just be having computer issues or something.

^^^

That's probably the case. It's just another thing to drive me crazy while I'm waiting for my vision waiver.

How do I know if "passed" the DODMERB exam?

My current status say's "closed".

I did it for the MCROTC scholarship. So who do I call to tell the academy that I already did it for the MCROTC?

Thanks!

If you were not DQ'ed by DoDMERB than you passed. You are probably pretty safe for USNA, although they do have different standards than NROTC (Marine Option).

My current status say's "closed".

You will get a letter from DODMERB informing you of your current medical status.

"Closed" is only used on the dodmets site, it doesn't indicate your medical qualification at all.

Go to the DODMERB site to get your status instantly.

You don't have to tell any other academies of your medical status or that you have taken the physical, they will access DODMERB when necessary.

See, here's the problem.

I just recently received my LOA requiring that I need to get my DODMERB done. Since I have already taken one for the MCROTC scholarship, I don't know how or if I can use that one for the USNA.

After I completed my exams for DODMERB for MCROTC, I never heard another word from them.

I'm lost, and worried. = /
