How early should I take the medical test. Since I’m not a candidtate for the Air Force yet, I can’t take the dodmerb. But I am for the Naval Academy. Once I have five documents on file I can take the exam. The exam works just like the CFA, acceptable for all the academies. But I am not home untill mid August. Should I take it immediately when I come back, my weight might or will be down to the Academy standards by then. How long untill I or the Academy gets the results? Should I have my doctor make a folder of all my medical records and bring it with me to the dodmerb exam to make things efficiently and expeditiously as possible?

As soon as you come back. You never know what remedials/waivers USNA might have you go through. I'm not familiar with their process (having never applied there), but I assume it's the same sort of deal. I'd take your records (I sent them in later as a remedial), because I think they send them out with your exam results.

You will get information in the mail regarding scheduling your exam. They give you a window in which to schedule the exam - you can't take it until you have the information from Concorde, Inc.
You will received specific instructions - follow them - including how to prepare for the exam. You will need to schedule an eye exam as well.
Do not take any medical records with you to the exam. Do not request them unless you are officially notified that DoDMERB needs them - they can be expensive. If you have a certain medical history that you are not sure of you might want access to them to complete your medical history accurately.
