Getting a C in an AP class for example. Does it hurt?

The rest of the grades are A's and B's in APs. Just one C

i gota b-, im wondering the same thing (ap bio)

Yeah, I have a B in AP Statistics (a B for the 1st quarter and a B- for the 2nd quarter). In my school, they send out the entire report card (including your midterm exam grades).

depends on where you applied and how good your grades were before, and how bad a c is at your school, and how that affects your rank, and how much gpa really matters when your whole app is looked at, and how good your ECs are.

C will always hurt, its pretty inexcusable

i dont know how much it will hurt..

The adcoms at amherst rejected a kid b/c he had 2 b-'s in the second term of his sophomore year.... so yea C will hurt

if this is your first C then it might hurt you since colleges might think you are slacking off, but if its you second or third i wouldnt worry;just try and get all A's and B's next semester
