I was wondering, what are the chances of getting into both UCLA and UCB?
I've heard that even if you are a shoe-in for either it is extremely difficult to get into both. I've heard Berkeley may say "Oh he's already into UCLA" and reject you and vice versa. Am i being paranoid or does this really happen?

Getting into one UC will not affect your admission for another. Its just a rumor.

UCB/UCLA: Match

You know, one of the featured topics right now says to search topics before posting a new one.

This one in particular has been posted many, many times, especially recently. The answer is: NO. Berkeley and UCLA don't correspond on who gets in where. They don't care. They're independent universities. They happen to have similar standards for admission. I think the people who get into UCLA and not Berkeley (and vice versa) are very few in number; the majority get into both, methinks.

UCB/UCLA: match

Try posting chances threads in the 'chances' forum.

Sorry, lol. A redundant thread in the wrong forum. That's pretty bad. I'm still pretty new here. Good news on UCLA and UCB not coordinating though. Thanks
