Does age affect admission decision?

<p>Okay, I skipped a grade (8th to be specific) so I'm a year younger than all Fall of 2007 freshman applicants. Do you think that affects if colleges accept me or not? Positively or negatively? </p>

<p>I mean, I stand pretty well academically, but I heard that being younger can be my advocate, or it can be discouraging to college admissions. i need your thoughts!</p>

<p>It's not an advantage. One year younger doesn't matter, beyond that it can be a disadvantage..</p>
