Does ALL materials mean ALL?

My teachers are still writing their letters of rec, as is my counselor. If I submit my application, but they haven't finished their letters by Nov. 1, what happens? Same question regarding my transcript & when it'll be sent.

Yes, all materials mean ALL. All things you need to submit. The only thing you can submit after Nov. 1st is additional standardized tests (but only during November).

^^ No, that’s not fully correct. A student’s part of the application (common app and supplement) needs to be submitted before November 1st. Transcript, teacher recs, etc SHOULD be submitted before November 1st as well. If items are missing from your file, you will receive a notice around mid-November and have about a week to correct the issue. If items are still missing, your file will deferred to the RD round.

Well, so that’s what I said. It SHOULD be submitted. And I didn’t say they won’t send you a notice. And as you said, if it’s still missing, you will get deferred. You won’t be considered for SCEA. Thanks for the clarification, but that’s basically what I said.

^^ No, you said:

Teacher recommendations and transcripts can be submitted after November 1st. However, your file will probably not be read until your transcript (and possibly your teacher recommendations) arrive.
