Hi I gave my SAT 2 today but I screwed up badly (I was really ill) so I’ll definitely have to resit. The next possible testing date available for me is Jan 23… Will Amherst accept those scores? It says on the website that they might not, and on the collegeboard collegesearch it says that Jan 1’s the deadline for reporting all SAT scores. I really want to be sure. Thank-you!

I was wondering the same thing, since I don’t think my tests went well at all. I’m guessing the answer will be that they will not accept these scores, but can anyone confirm this?

Bump… Will they consider the scores if your application decision hasn’t been made yet?

Office of Admission (413) 542-2328

Bump ???

Call the Office of Admission and ask, yourself.

The person on the other end of the line is not going to bite your head off.

Crew Dad and kwu are right, call the admissions office or look at the school’s website, it will specify the last date for the SAT they’ll accept.

If you plan to apply regular decision, we urge you to complete your standardized tests by December 31st. If you must take any of your standardized tests in January, we do not recommend that you rush your scores to Amherst College. Instead, we suggest that you access your test scores online, print a copy of your internet delivery scores and fax them to our office at 413-542-2040 as soon as possible.
