Like the title says has anybody been in the position were they do badly on both midterms but still get an okay grade. I feel like no matter how much i study I will probably only do okay on the final, which is 50%. On both midterms I have been below the average, but within a standard deviation from the mean :/ In lecture he said that even people in the low 10's and 20's will likely get a C- or something like that which I hope is correct because my score is much higher than that but still bad.

^ what do u mean low 10s and 20s? you mean 10 or 20 pts from the mean? I want an A- i did avg on 1st midterm… but shoulda done a lot better. misread like 3 problems… cost me a lot 2nd midterm did ok. but shoulda done better had i had more time… I’m gonna study my arse off for the final. I’m gonna start studying after my last midterm tomorrow. Anyone remember how many pages the final was? and if you could finish in time?
Study harder and go to review sessions.

My friend scored about 15 points below the mean on both midterms. He studied hard for the final and got a B in the class. All hope isn’t lost, tough it out for the final. Good luck.

Does anybody know how the curve is structured? Does he base it off the class average after the final?

For Chem 3A, I got 45% on first MT (horrible, I know), 82% on second MT, and I dunno wut I got on the final but I got a B+ overall…

82% for 2nd mT? dangg that is good. *** that would be like 3sd above the mean… lol.
