<p>i really really hope it does come out tomorrow.... it would save me a lot of trouble. apps and everything! i really want to believe that it will, but then again... this year the mailing system was different and there was an increase in the number of ed applicants... sooooo...i dont know really what to think!</p>
<p>i dont understand these forums... as much as i, too, would like to find out tomorrow, why does everything think it's even possible? the ed class of 2009 said their decision date was set at dec. 10th and it was given at 5 PM of that exact day, not on the 9th, 8th, 7th, 6th, or w/e day earlier. </p>
<p>Yeah, it's getting down to crunch time but it just seems weird to me that so many people seem like they expect or hope they come out as early as the 9th, when i have seen or read no evidence of such a thing coming even close to happening.</p>

<p>We, the class of '09, were told it would be December 15th from the start, but:</p>
<p>Class of '09 found out a few weeks in advance that we could get our decisions on the 10th. You all might get yours a day or two early, but I doubt you will get them tomorrow. I remember counting down the seconds for several days.</p>

<p>10th is a Saturday.....thus the speculation. One must consider the date and the day of the weeki.</p>
<p>ah, that helps. i thought the cornell website said "decisions will be available dec. 10" the whole time for you guys. </p>
<p>wow, finding out early would help a ton- i'd be able to burn this stack of papers that keeps getting taller everyday of college app stuff if i'm in, or start chugging through it if i'm not in. i'm already past my school's preferred deadline for turning in the paperwork of RD applications.</p>
<p>Yeah, but hazmat, a saturday doesn't really make it very difficult for cornell to allow access to their database over a friday or w/e. 3 years ago the ED decisions were released on a Wednesday. I don't think it has much to do with the day of the week.</p>
<p>I think that releasing on a Sat requires personnel to work....support staff and such. That is my reasoning.</p>
<p>They definitely wont be out tomorrow... Human Ecology requested my 1st quarter grades today.</p>

<p>my recollection was that the webstie said "mid-December," which people took to be 12/15 and they switched to the 10th.</p>
<p>sides, I have this directly from an associate director of admssions:</p>
<p>"Early Decision application decisions will be mailed to students Thursday, December 15. Applicants that created a Self-Service Account through the Undergraduate Admissions Web site can access their decisions at 5:00 p.m. EST on December 15."</p>
