D has applied to Grinnell and they use FAFSA in addition to their own form. Does anyone out there have experience with their formula? How close did the package come to the calculators? Did you really end up with less debt at the end in accordance with their stated policy? How easy is it to get a work-study job? Were you happy with the experience? I'm finding that between schools there is a lot of variation on how they treat different assets and resources. As much as I hate the phrase, "at the end of the day" did you feel like the package they offered was reasonable and you could make it work, or was it a shock or "accept/reject" proposition.

Thanks in advance!
