does anyone have their app totally complete and ready to send in?

i still have to turn in my recs to counselor and teacher for them to fill out.

I suppose mine is done. Maybe some essay corrections - got a little time though.

Not even close. Haven't started essays. I'll get my teacher recommendations and transcript stuff done this week though.

my school sucks tho b/c the counseling office isn't giving out transcripts till Sept 6th.

IcicleRose - my school doesn't start until Sept. 6 as well. My GC is incredibly busy and basically snapped at me when I asked her (politely of course) to fill out the UMich forms. She told me that she wouldnt have it done until mid-October... [I'm currently having a heartattack, lol]. No worries, I'm sure a nice Starbucks gift card will do the trick.

app. complete and ready to be sent in a few days or so.

I actually tried to get everything in by labor day but school was busy as well. Oh well, I just hope I can get accepted (my stats are pretty average- maybe iffy) =\

Best of luck to everybody though! :)

mine's done and submitted. yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm having way too much trouble with the long essay... the topics are terrible and everything I write about is crap, or isn't what the admissions counselors are looking for.

I'm just waiting for the recs and transcript to be sent. The rest is mostly done.

A2wolves: the essay asking you to write about an issue of national, state, or local importance to you is a good one to do if you're having trouble coming up with something.

UMrunner - that's the one i'm doing, but everything I write about doesn't speak enough about the qualities in which i'm strong in, and rather focus too much on answering the question posed.

just started on "ethical dilemma", and prertty much liking it.

A2Wolves: just answer the question. your interest in the topic and the way you explain it will tell them a lot about you
