neone else sent in?

I'm sending everything in this week!

But i'll be deferred, so I won't have a decision in October :(

i didnt know sat scores take 3 weeks to send =(

My teacher rec and counselor stuff was sent in last week and I'm sending the rest early this week. I'm really hoping that I'll get accepted without being deferred, but that probably won't happen.

WHAT?!?!? we gotta send teacher recs and counselor stuff here??!!?!

i thought ann arbor was a public.....

It is a Public institution.

But you still need one teacher recommendation and one counselor recommendation.

It's not that bad... some schools want 3 teacher recs!

My counselor rec, the last piece I don't control, is being sent on Monday. Now I just wait a week or so to send in my portion, after my essays are completely done.

i fear that i will be deferred as well....

Well, i'm from a feeder school to U of M, and my counselor told me that we had 200 applicants from the senior class last year to Michigan. Only about 75 of them were accepted right off the bat, and the rest of the 125 were deferred. Later, about 65 of those 125 were accepted... so if get deferred, you still have a good chance.

Don't fear deferred! I'm anxiously awaiting it, LOL!

A2Wolves, how strong is your class this year? I get the feeling we might get quite close to you in acceptances for '06ers.

My class has 14 students with a 4.0. We had the most National Merit Semifinalsts out of any school in Michigan. The top 10% cut off for our class is 3.93. It's a "much stronger" class than we had last year, according to our college admissions advisor.

How many? We were told we (Troy) had the most. We have 28 this year.

I'm not sure how many this year's class has, all I know is that my counselor told me we had the most. Last year we had 13, but that was one of our worst classes in years.

at my school, nearly everyone with higher than 29 act and 3.8 gpa gets in. my counselor said if you have a 3.7 and a 27 and are instate, then you have a good chance....

what school do you go to, a2wolves6?

I'd guess Ann Arbor Pioneer.

I sent my application in today and now awaiting confirmation :)
What's the earliest somebody has recieved an admissions decision by?

I really need to get going with this. I still haven't done my essays. (But I have scores sent in and teacher recs being done)

soniqwave - When I went to the college visit, they said there was a student who applied 8 hours after the application came out. He got an admissions decision later that month.

8 hrs? wow thats amazing lol.
Well if everything goes as you said, I might get deffered as well and might not even be accepted afterwards... oh well, just gotta hope for the best. Good luck to everybody applying though! =]
