I read somewhere that you must take a calc test to see what level you're at at oreintation in the summer before we start in the fall, but is that only for some specific majors, or do all majors have to do this? thanks

According to the website, the calc placement exam is for people in the following majors:
Biochemistry, Chemistry, Computer Science, Economics, Economics/Mathematics, BS Environmental Studies, all Engineering majors, BS Physical Geography, Geology, all Mathematics majors, Physics, Statistics.
(If you have an AP Calculus score of 2 or higher, or you have taken a college level calculus course, you do not need to take the exam even if you are in one of the majors listed above).

I have to take it =( gahh i hate math lol

oh i’m in Geography …but it doesnt say if its BS physical… ahhh i think im just in the BA for Geography…yay no test for me then lol

do you think i have to take it for econ and accounting?! im taking the writing test on saturday, but never got anything about a calc test.

Well it does list Econ as a major for which you need to take it; I would just take it to be safe.
