the orientation site says "or you have taken a college level calculus course, you do not need to take the exam even if you are in one of the majors listed above"

so if i am understanding this correctly, i do not need to take it if i've taken AP calculus in high school?

It depends on what score you got on the AP calculus test.

i did not take the exam i just aced the ap calc class....so i have to take it? how is it? hard?....are the problems on the test mostly from trig/math analysis or calc?

Not sure about SB, but the problems aren't going to test calc, only pre-calc and such. If you pass it you go on to do what's equivalent to Calc AB again for fall quarter.

ok, so i took the placement exam. got a 51/60...yay! was i suppose to get an email confirming my score? cause i didnt get one. does this mean the exam didnt go through?
