I've been accepted into UCSD and i will need a loan to help pay for my school.

Does anyone know where to get started?
Do i just go to banks?
or does it have to deal with the school as well?
Is it online?
or any tips from anyone who has taken out a loan for school

sorry i have no idea how to get started

UC’s will process your financial aid and provide you a loan package. You can then from there accept or decline the loan depending on how much support you have.

You will have to fill out a few online forms that explains your risk and obligation for the loan but other than that loans are done with a few simple clicks

go to the street corner and do what you do best.

What if I didnt apply for financial aid

You might still be able to sign up for some financial aid although I’m not sure how that situation would be like.

But if you wanted to go the private loan route, yea you would go to a bank and apply for a loan. Depending on your credit, you might want a cosigner with good credit. Nowadays, it’s as tough as hell to get one. Unlike the “glory” of the subprime days where you could just ask for one and be approved the same day.
