Hello I was looking around for the transfer rate for the university of michigan, i found an old thread saying 4x% could it be that high ? and does anyone know anything about their engineering department ? even more specifically their computer engineering department ?

Thank you very much !

Here are the Common Data Sets for UM, all have transfer data:

[Office of Budget & Planning: Common Data Set](<a href=“Office of Budget and Planning”>Office of Budget and Planning)

Only total numbers, no dept. specific data, not sure that’s available.

Thanks ! that was very helpful !1

You’re welcome. The other thing to keep in mind is that it combines IS and OOS applicants. So, if you’re IS, the acceptance rate is likely higher and if OOS, lower than the total.

IS ? OOS ? what do those mean ?

IS = in state
OOS = out of state

When you consider a public U, state of residency is generally a big admissions factor and almost always a large financial one too.

I see makes sense thank you !!
