<p>My friend got rejected today; it was weird, cause the envelope was marked 03/29, but the letter was dates 03/30. Weird.</p>
<p>I received my admission about two weeks ago through mail. I live in Michigan.</p>

<p>How could the decision possibly arrive on the 1st of April?</p>
<p>That's a Sunday, and the mail isnt even delivered on Sundays.</p>
<p>April 1 is just a pre-set date that colleges and universities have been using for a long time. Realistically, admissions/rejections are mailed out a couple of weeks before; some slightly after.</p>
<p>April 1 is on sunday, so I guess you guys will get it april 2.</p>
