<p>The average amount of students who apply/are admitted into the journalism program? Also, the lowest average ACT? Mine is a 25, but my high GPA and good EC's will hopefully make up for it. Not to mention my 31 in reading and I am a Journalism student... Thanks guys, good luck everyone!</p>

<p>I’m not exactly sure the particular stats/acceptance for journalism but the most I know is that when an NU representative came to my school, she said that you are mostly competing against people applying into the same major as you because they only have a certain amount of seats for each major. I hope that helps a little bit? I’ve been curious about the same thing for communications

I read earlier %7 percent of students are communications majors which makes me feel a bit better as I am assuming that it’s going to be less competitive. But then again, you know what assuming does…haha</p>
<p>I know exactly what you mean lol its so hard not to dwell on all the stats and random info while waiting. But that 7% does make me feel a little better too. I hate the anticipation! Hopefully we both get in : )</p>
