hi. i went to austin today and checked out castilian and an apartment that is like 15-20 min away from ut. castilian rooms are small as helllll damnnn. i mean i was like damnnn it's some small ass room. and then i went to this apartment village at riverside. and it was two separate bed rooms and bathrooms and cheaper and better and blah blahhh. so i will prolly live at the apartment. so do any of yall live at apartments? wat do u think about living there? and does anyone here live at the village at riverside? how is life there?

are you asian? did you go with your dad? i think i saw you if you are.

don't live at riverside unless you are antisocial, you will not meet many people and also it is considerably more dangerous there than at castilian (or west campus). No doubt about it you will have more fun at castilian

haha yea thats me. do u live at the riverside? how are the other apartments around it? oh and r u the girl who showed me around the castilian??:)

How small were the rooms at Castilian?

very small
barely enough space to move around

For anyone who can comment, how were the Castilian room sizes compared to the rooms at the Dobie Center?

lol, i was not that chick, i just saw you on the elevator.

the rooms aren't that small, definitly enough space to move around. Dobie is a bigger, but more expensive

Hi, I'm an international offered supplemental housing and wondering whether some of the private dorms such as Dobie, Goodall-Wootenn or Towers might be a better option. In terms of food, the on-campus options for veggies seem to be better, but I' m not sure of the other factors to consider.

Any views, yall?

Dude, don't even consider Wooten....that place is such a **** hole.

Ouch, even for a 5 day stay before I move into campus housing on the 25th.?

hey samgeeth,

are you an international student???
i am also trying to figure out what to do those five days or so before we get our housing, because we gotta be there for orientation and we have NO housing then. do you have any plans yet??
let me know!

i believe a co-op might let you stay pretty cheap, with some pretty damn good food.
