Hi! Just wondering, what's the stress load of taking a physics lecture and lab in the summer? I'd like feedback on those who have actually taken the class, specifically for Physics 1B/BL. However, feedback for 1A/1AL and 1C/1CL is also good. A lot of sleepless nights? A lot of homework? Is it harder taking it in the summer than during the quarter? Anything you'd like to advise me on? Please, anything that'll tell me if I should take it or not. Oh, and this is for Summer Session II by the way. Thanks in advance!

I heard it’s not too bad if you just focus on physics and don’t take a lot of classes or do too many extracurricular things besides this class. I think it will be more challenging to take physics in the summer than other subjects, but it should be do-able if you spend a 1-2 hours per weekday on it and a little more on weekends. I have no experience taking physics over the summer, but it wasn’t too bad during the quarter so it shouldn’t be awful over the summer either. Make sure you keep up, that’s all.

Ah, I see, thank you for your feedback!

If I want to take a summer class somewhere else (entering freshman), do you know who I talk to at UC-SD?
