Advantages of taking it during the summer...

+Supposed "best" teacher only teaches during summer session and seeing as how physics 2b is a harder class..
+Can also do lab work/research in addition to the course during the summer
+Won't fall behind on schedule for physics (bioengnineering biotechnology major) so less courseload pressure for next quarter

Disadvantages...

-174 X 4 =$696??? (like 676$ more expensive than summer school back home...) -_-'
-Cost of housing = MORE $$, gg
-Stay at UCSD for a whole month by myself away from family and friends...

What do people think? I'm leaning towards just taking it next quarter instead of summer session II.

It’s too late to apply for financial aid for this summer quarter unless you’re thinking about taking it next summer. Another thing to note is that you’ll have to take two classes instead, but it looks like if you have some need they’re pretty good with giving grants. I’m getting like $1200 which mostly covers the tuition of 1500ish. I also got about 1,000ish in a subsidized stafford loan. Of course, it might vary for you depending on need.

I haven’t calculated what my living expenses are yet because I’m living off campus at my brother’s apartment, but it doesn’t seem too terrible with my financial aid at least.
