Does anyone use AP Credit?

I've taken the APUSH and AP stats and will take the BC CALC, AP LIT, AP SPAN LANG, and AP PHYS B tests and I hope I'll get a three or higher on those last four. But I'll be majoring in Computer Science at the University of Toronto or UMass Amherst's Honors college. I hear that a lot of people don't use their ap credit so they can repeat classes and get better grades. I'm not immensely smart, should I just repeat the classes or what?

I've heard that some people get to skip a year and graduate in three with AP courses. What would be the pros and cons to not using my ap credit?

AP credit is good for cutting credits and beeing able to graduate early. Although ur gonna need to check ur specific college’s requirements on ap credits and how they can be used. There is really little point in repeating classes because ur not guaranteed to improve ur grades plus u’ll be stuck in a subject u’ve already learned and might get extremely bored.

also ur high school grades dont really transfer on to college, mostly their just used for placement, so unless you wanna relearn somthing, repeating for a better grade is pointless
