Does Anyone Watch "Mad Men" on AMC?

I've just started catching up on past episodes. Great writing btw...

In the final episode of Season 1 ("The Wheel"), spoiler alert :: it is revealed that the character, Peter Campbell, the young ambitious (spoiled) conniving guy is a graduate of Deerfield.

The guy is such a loathsome character -- I don't know, it just kind of struck me that as a graduate of an elite prep school myself -- when your average person hears that you've "gone to prep school" does the image of a "Peter Campbell" come rushing in?

It almost makes me think twice about sending my own kid to prep school...

One will seldom hear or gain anything positive about a private school much less a boarding school when it comes from tv land and the alleged media elite.

Granted… but that doesn’t mean that it isn’t art imitating life…

TV is art?

I think it was season 2, when Duckie (was that his name–the new head of accounts who had the alcohol problem) briefly mentioned that his son was at St. Paul’s.

Best show on TV now!

I really like Mad Men. Everything is so perfectly matched to the time period- the costumes, props, everything. The costumes are really fun :-)
