I finished my two mock MC tests for AP human and my scores were horrendous. The first time I got 53/74 and the second time is 50/75. I normally score pretty good in classes but when I take the mock tests it just turn out horrible. The questions my teacher put on there are pretty specific such as what Protestant's denomination is popular in the North Dakota region or "Which of the 5 regions do not speak Indo-Euro language" . Anyone took the exam before or know a source for past exams so I can study until tuesday ? Thanks.

Those questions that you used as examples seem pretty realistic. I think the first one is Lutheran and I’d have to see the choices for the second one. I’m guessing you are self-studying because teachers usually go over things like that in the classes.

53/74 is not bad. If you get only 3 points on each of the frqs, you’d get a 4. Google 2006 APHG curve.

My teacher has said that the multiple choice is mostly vocabulary, and yes you do need to know specific examples. Just review a bit more, you can get yourself up to a 5 by Tuesday if you study hard enough.

Religions in particular are something that you will need to know. If it makes it easier to learn them, focus on which nations colonized which parts of the United States. Also, look for the released multiple choice questions from previous exams and time yourself on those. They should help you get a grasp as to what they’re looking for.
