okay let me explain.
i am considering taking summer classes, since i applied for financial aid in the fall semester, i would have to fill out an enrollment plan for getting FA for the summer.
but would they give me more money (if i do get any) aside from the Fa package i already have, or would they take some of my financial aid package from the fall/spring semester to use it in the summer.
does that make sense?

For most schools, there is no special pool of money for summer classes. It’s generally loans and whatever other state/federal grants like Pell that would be awarded for the academic year. Whether that would reduce your FA for the following fall/spring depends on whether your school uses a summer header (summer is the first semester of the academic year) or trailer (summer is part of the previous academic year). For a header school, it’s likely that any FA you take advantage of would reduce your awards for fall and spring.
