I recently saw my transcript and I have about 10 absences per semester for three years. This is because I frequently have clubs/events/outside activities that I miss school for. Is this considered a lot of school to miss? Will it negatively impact me? Do colleges even care?
It will not impact your application
No @imaginationx , given that you have a reason for it. Some high schools, however, do list your attendance record on your transcript, so if your school does this, make sure to let your counselor know that this is because of competitions, outside activities etc. They might be able to write a note on your transcript explaining this, or include this somewhere else: this would be a discussion to have with them.
As @skieurope stated, it will not be considered at all in your application. Colleges care about your performance, not your attendance.
