Does Barnard take in multiple applicants from each high school?

Hello everyone!

Just out of curiosity, has anyone heard stories or experienced Barnard, Smith, Wellesley and Mt. Holyoke taking multiple applicants in from a highschool?

Including myself, there are around four girls from my school applying to one school -does the admissions restrict itself to taking only one girl? Is it rare for them to take in multiple applicants?

Many thanks!

Smith took two girls from my school last year, in a class of about 120.
So yes, it does happen.
Don’t fret.

Barnard accepted 3 from my school last year

Yes … Barnard has enrolled something like 10 kids over the last 3 years from my kid’s HS … and that does not count the women accepted who went to other schools.

Two people from mine went to Barnard last year. Two to Smith, also. I don’t really believe in the whole “quota” paranoia, so I wouldn’t worry about it.
