I have been a resident alien in the United States for about 14 years and I can't go through naturalization to become a US citizen until around October of the year I graduate from high school and go to college. Will it put me at a disadvantage in when colleges consider me for admission? Even though I was a resident in the United States for all that I can remember.

Do you currently hold Permanent resident status? If so, then you have nothing to worry about whatsoever.

Yes i am. Thank you for your response.

You should be fine, as long as your paperwork is in order. My sister got into HYP, ended up going to UPenn. She was a resident alien during the entire process, and only just got U.S. citizenship (she’s doing residency now).
