Does being in the Honors Tutorial College make a difference after college?

I am a senior in high school and an aspiring journalism major. I am in love with OU's campus and journalism program. I am an above average student - top 1% in my class, 31 ACT, 2020 SAT, 4.0 GPA. So of course I would like to take honors classes, but I'm just not sure that the HTC is for me. I'm not sure that I would enjoy the intense one-on-one attention and I think I need a more structured class schedule. Unfortunately, there are no other honors classes offered at OU outside of the HTC :-/

My question is, does being in the HTC really matter after college (as far as finding employment)? For that matter, does being in any honors program at any university matter when looking for employment? Or is it more important to have a high GPA and to be an active student both in and outside of college classes?

Bumpity bump
