I am currently a junior in high school. I have taken Alg 1 & 2 and geometry. I recently hit a road block in precalculus as I dug myself into a hole where I am certain I will get a C. I plan to go to a Tier 1 college and study business. I have the option to transfer to business precalculus and start with an A. I would then plan to take precalculus my senior year and also take AP stats. Would business precalculus look bad for college apps? Is this a good plan or is it better to stick with a C in the class? I currently have a 3.7 unweighted gpa and have never gotten a C before.

Business precalculus is applied precalculus, and I personally think it’s better to have practical knowledge of interest, risk/return, other businessy jargon, etc… rather than abstract knowledge of polynomial functions / polar graphs and coordinates.
